Christine James is an Ottawa-based Certified Association Executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience in the not-for-profit sector. Christine joined Halmyre as Vice President, Client Engagement in January 2022. Prior to this, Christine was Associate Director, Membership Services & Programs for the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada, and as a private consultant has provided executive leadership for associations across diverse sectors. Her areas of expertise include membership recruitment, retention, and engagement programs; volunteer engagement; governance; awards and grants; continuing professional development; and strategic planning.

Christine is actively involved with the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE) and was Chair of the Ottawa-Gatineau network in 2020-21.
