Mr. Reuben Bruce Murphy is a Senior Corporate Planning Advisor at the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) where he engages in environmental scanning including external data analysis, policy monitoring and briefing to senior management. He graduated from Dalhousie Law School and has an MBA through a scholarship with the University of New Hampshire. Reuben’s heritage is Labrador Inuit, he grew up on the land in northern Labrador, and he started his career as a community leader for local inclusion in the Voisey’s Bay nickel project. Reuben previously worked for Raytheon Corporation with the VP of Commercial Electronics before serving as a Director of the Government of Nunavut to implement satellite broadband for Canada’s Arctic communities. Reuben currently serves as the Co-chair for the Indigenous Network at CNSC.
