David is a Profession Engineer (P.Eng) licensed in Ontario and has a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. He graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Honours Chemical Engineering and is a big proponent of Co-op education that links academic study and achievement with hands-on work experience. At the start of his career, Dave worked as Process Engineer working on multi-disciplinary inorganic chemical and fertilizer projects in Canada, China, India, Spain & Argentina. David is currently a Project Manager in the Energy and Technical Services group of Walker Industries’ Environmental division focusing on landfill gas and biogas renewable energy projects. An avid traveler (pre-COVID), David has visited over 25 countries across Europe, South America and Asia in the last 15 years and hopes to travel more frequently with his wife and two young daughters in the coming years with the easing of COVID travel restrictions.
